I don't know. I'll take them out of the circuit and give it a try. I had them in the F5 to break ground loops.

You can do it without cut the green trace.
Just desolder (-) of the C2 capacitor if you can and is your output.
So is reversible modification in case you want your M2 back like original with the power stage.
Same logic you can power your jfets at his desoldered gate pins so no need cut pcb red traces.
what i meant that the red is the new Vsupply positionif you cut where red is , JFets will lost power
good idea without Cout, or I can desolder existing elna 10uf and replace with film caps as it end as output. what is minimum value for Cout? usually RC formula is used but I dont find related R after Cout. currently i have 2.7uf hovland to be used

In finalized version Edcor be with copper shield tape and mu metal box as well.
I was just to impatient and curious about M2.
Wait few more weeks was like eternity....
.Edcor is less funky to de soldering with the " pillars ".
I don't want damage pcb tracks with high temperature.
Every time i try different experiments.
AlephJ was about source resistors and capacitors.
Good surprise i find bunch of 10R quality resistors on second hand market
and get pairs of genuine Toshiba and LSK jfet's.
Perfect to play different FE components configurations so i do with the sockets and pcb is safe.

My Decware Triode line pre have two position gain level switch.
Normal position give me not sufficient level ( very little background noise )
and to much at high position ( strong background noise into fr drivers )
so i tourn off active preamp and try with passive Autoformer Volume Control.
Source is modified by me CD player with TDA1541 standard 2V output.
Incredible was happen !!!
M2 and AVC together bring equilibre to my audio chain gain structure.
Silence is total i never have experienced that and i get lot of volume gain on 98 dB full ranges drivers.
Music is beautiful and emotional

I did take the Jensen input transformers out of the loop. I hear a very slight buzz with my ear to the tweeter...with the Jensen transformers in it was dead quiet. I really don't think there is much difference in sound.
What did make a difference was switching to a 10uf Clarity film cap in place of what I was using in the C2 positions (Elna Silmic II 10uf, Wima .1uf bypass).

I will continue to assume that it was on the turntable, it was making the noise, so I dont think putting it on the amp's switch would help.
