Do not do that!OK, thanks!!!! MIRALIN.
AB... Стр. 34 журнала <<Радио>> № 7 за 1968 год#7658. Very interesting: current consumption is said to be 0.1 A at idle and 0.35 A at full power. No class A?

Hello oldDIY, I will mount the TIP2955 in a separate heatsink. Not on the same heatsink as Q1. I will use a heatsink equal to that of Q1. But I will not put it together. Now I understand your concern. Thank you.

Hi OldDIY
Could I kindly remind you that the language of this forum is English and if you have some Russian text that you want to share, a translation would be most welcome.
Thanks
Mike
Are you sure it's Russian?
Well the fact that it was written in Cyrillic and the article appears to be from a Russian magazine gave the odds of it being Russian.
However, the point of my post is still valid in that the primary language of the forum is English and I was asking for the contributor to help educate us all in English.
Let's move on if nothing is forthcoming
Kind regards
Mike
This is suspicious. I think OldDIY is Russian asset. Comey should be contacted ASAP.Hi OldDIY

Thanks OldDIY. Somehow, I knew you would know the right answer.
Meanwhile, I have investigated this subject by simply meassuring input and output. Meassurements indicate that Vrms is virtually constant over the entire audible region. Also, there is just a slight phase shift starting below 20Hz. On the other side, square wave response looks bad. Perhaps this is because square wave analysis attempts to use relatively simple set of trigonometric functions to present rather complicated physical dependencies. But the amplifier itself sounds great.
But the amplifier itself sounds great.
At some point one simply must be satisfied with great sound, even if measurements aren't perfect.
Indeed, but you must admit that 90-60-90 (in cm) is unbeatable. At some point one simply must be satisfied with great sound, even if measurements aren't perfect.
Hint: in Imperial units 90-60-90 cm equals to 36-24-36 inch
