Hello YWH,

I received the $100 SHP retrofit lamp for the Mitsubishi LVP-X70UX and had it running without any problem; the view was bright and colors were very good.

Unfortunately after 4 days and ~20 hours the lamp quit in the middle of a show. It is now very cloudy inside the bulb.

The projector tries to fire it up but it fails to ignite. This one has turned out to be the lamp with the least number of hours of operation so far.

Do you have a separate ballast for these SHP lamps?

ONE MELTED ELECTRODE? or BURNED INTERNAL CONNECTION TO ONE ELECTRODE?

or do you have the pic of your ballast? I can found 150w ballast for these SHP lamps, but may be it is not same as yours.

Thanks for your offer and the link to the discussion on the LVP-X70UX projector. I used the original ballast in the projector. All the electrodes and connections appear OK with this lamp. In the pic you can only see one electrode because the bulb is cloudy inside.
I will mail it back to you as soon as I get your shipping address.

I would be interested in the 150w JYD/AC and ballast that way I will not have to deal with the internal ballast again.

I know what happen, this bulb is not SHP!
you sent about $65 for JYD/DC first, and then sent about $35 for SHP again. but I sent JYD/DC before you sent about $35. so you receive JYD/DC .
I will contact 18, I will send to you a sure SHP if he has not sent bake $35. to you

I have never lost belive in my SHP ;-)

can you pull out you bulb to take a pic? I have to know DC or AC.
