They are genuine Philips TDA1541A/S2 from Netherlands, I am quite sure. Definitely not rebranded nor fake.
I will try to get one from him to check the date code and post the photo.
This guy has these devils for years. Philips original tubed pakage, more than two tubes that I saw few years ago when these chips were still available in the market. It means that these chips are brand new and not pulled out things. Few days ago, I talked with him and I said he would never use that many in his entire life. He said, OK if I need, he will offer me around EURO 100. I will talk with him again to check out if he really wants to release some.

I visit my friend today. He took the TDA1541 chip to me. A so-called ¡§ultimate TDA1541¡¨ slipped out the tube package. Guess what, I saw a TDA1541 which looked weird to me. I didn¡¦t take camera with me, so I can¡¦t post pic here. But if I keep my memory correct, this chip date coded 8814 and does have double crown prints on the right side. The weird thing is that in the upper right corner, it printed S1 not S2. All prints looked original but why??? I don¡¦t think it worth that much, EURO 100, so I quit¡K
