Hi Phil, I just sent a request for a Subbu kit fully assembled. I never worked with SMD parts before so I'm going to releive myself of that heart ache this time.

C17 can also be the original tantalum 4.7 uF cap. I think it performs slightly better and definitely no risk of oscillation of the reg. You are right about the other parts, certainly C32. The 2.5 mm Wima is one of the best to be used there.
