That's a good idea
I've built quite a few switchers based around 3525 in the past with good results. If anyone is interested in this old chip still I could do a schematic and artwork for one. I always thought about doing a finished pcb but at the time my pcb skills were not very mature.
Might still have some old notes or schematics around, I'll look around.
