1)
We have 16 chararcters on any row.
1234567890123456
PCM192KHz -192dB

no space for space
12345678901234567
PCM 192KHz -192dB

you prefer ?
1234567890123456
192KHz -192dB

I think the second one look better (PCM 192KHz -192dB), it is very very rare to use volume lower than -100dB (my system is already almost silent at -70dB).

2)
Not easy maintain both releases % and dB

No problem.

re the DAC kit

Hi Kenneth,
Much much do you want for the kits?
I'll be in Hong Kong towards the end of October.

Dear All,

I've no time to build this lovely ES9018 DAC, and now I decided to sell the DAC kit.
The kit included the following:~

- Quanghao custom made chassis(defeated due to poor packing, still waiting Quanghao to send me a new facepanel and the sidepanel)
- Gold-plated RCAs, Neutrik XLRs, Toshiba RX147L
- DAC module, remote, display
- I/V module without any opamps
- Amanero USB module
- two custom made toroidal transformer with 220V-0 primary input, a 22VA for digital, and a 50VA for analog

Please PM me if interested.

Best regards,
Kenneth Lau

PCM 44KHz -127dB
PCM192KHz -127dB
PCM192KHZ -90dB

See the insistency of sampling rate display on the current firmware. Some with space after PCM, some without.

PCM 44KHz -127dB
PCM 192KHz-127dB
PCM 192KHZ -90dB

Isn't it look much consistent with this edited sampling rate display?
It can fit within the 16x2 diaplay. No space after KHz when volume is below -100dB is fine, as those occations are rare, but we see the consistent/inconsistent sampling rate display all the time!
Actually all we need is just a one-off 2nd choice firmware for those who need it, no furthur maintenance is needed for this 2nd choice firmware. Is it too much?

Thanks,
