My fave...

The Wicker Man.

And yes I am taliking about the origional with Edward Woodward and Christopher Lee - not the laughable remake with Nic Cage.

I also love the soundtrack...

I turned it off after about 5 min. in the middle, was Nicolas Cage supposed to make a believable 40 yr. old virgin or did they change the plot?

My fave recent cult experience was Fight Club with all the beer nuts in the minibar washed down with 2/3 of a bottle of Juge Cornas that SY gave me because it was too "poopie" for most of us at dinner the night before.

Mr Wurcer,

what a pleasant surprise, I didn't know you were into bare knuckle fights.

Speaking Edward Norton, i just love the personality change in the closing scene of Primal Fear, as tasty as Keyser Soze's appearance by Kevin Spacey.

Only over weather the sound of pure silver speaker cables takes one into the next level of human possibility.

I saw this thread for the first time today and immediately thought Princess Bride, and didn't think anyone else would have chosen it. for the line I was thinking about Inigo's chant... I did a search and Ron E & Nelson had beaten me to it!! anyway here is a link to it YouTube - Princess Bride - My Name Is... since I don't think it was posted ;)

So I Choose this next Line. (there are so many good ones in this movie).

Buttercup: We'll never survive.
Westley: Nonsense. You're only saying that because no one ever has.

The first that actually came to mind was "have fun storming the castle" Which was what my Uni friends used to always say as a farewell.....

Tony.

the glamorous life of sachiko hanai

touches on many topics, on many levels.

this movie makes fun of -

men

women

NWO

porn films

private detectives

international spies

smart people

stupid people

and shoot em up films.

has some (low voltage) sex, and violence.

perhaps the best part, the end.

at the theatre, when the credits roll, most people got up and left.

after the credits, the rest of the movie was shown - no kiddin .

Apart from the usual suspects, ( no pun intended, also a good film), Run Lola Run, and Leon are both cracking films, and I have a real soft spot for Dark Star...

You might guess I'm also a fan of the Usual Suspects.....

Full Metal Jacket grew on me though. The oddest thing about that movie is how it always gets women glued to watching it, especially the first half. R. Lee Ermey's comedy is amazing. It's almost a chick flick!

My favorite line:

"You're so ugly, you could be a modern art masterpiece!"

Pulp Fiction
"I'm the foot f*****g Mastahhh!"

Pulp Fiction is one of the most quoted movies -by me :D

Other fave quotes:

"If you're okay, say something.." -"something.."

"Hey, Flock of seagulls"

"Does he look like a b*tch?"

"What"? That's no country I ever heard from? Do they speak english in 'What'?"

Other cult faves:

Fear and loathing in Las Vegas
Irreversible
Snatch
Eraserhead
C'est arrivé près de chez vous
Fight Club
Reservoir Dogs
