I just started to install some of the resistors on the boards and was wondering what is the logic of spacing the distance for the leads into the boards so close? What is the reasoning to have the hole distances less than the actual length of the resistors themselves? I see that a few resistors are so close to each other that it seems smart to put some on the bottom because of the resistor diameters or to offset one above the other for a nicer looking layout than trying to squeeze them together. In the past I always was taught to have nice gentle curves to the leads out of a resistor but that is just not possible.

For most of the small resistors the grid is 10mm for use with 6mm resistors. Maybe you could post some pictures.Thank you for your valuable feedback.

I have heard until now follow:

1) push-pull differential input
2) push pull differential cascode (by use of an additional cascode transistor)
3) push-pull LTP
4) your term
5) mirror-symmetric front-end
6) cantonese chicken input (actually more often used for a circlotron/CSPP)
