Chip Amp Photo Gallery

Here's my first amp using TDA7375 chip and driven in 3-channel mode with 18V supply. Case is from old ATX-power supply. All parts exept the pot and the switch is recycled, so this is cheap one.
As a temporary solution I'm using a separate commercial eq/lpf-filter until I get my own lpf-filter for the sub done.

MY FIRST DIY KIT

I just finished my first amplifier. I was looking for a new amplifier, my old Musical Fidelity A1 was almost dead, and after months buying magazines and listening expensive amplifiers I opted to build two monoblocks from www.chipamp.com kit. The result is impressive. I am surprised that an amplifier so easy to build sounds as well. This amplifier surpasses any commercial amplifier I've never heard and certainly better than my old A1. The box was bought in www.diyenclosures.com and cables and connectors in www.takefiveaudio.com, the rest in www.rs.com.
I've also build the passive preamplifier of the photo, with afour poles input selector.

:)

Nice job!

very nice juluska!.
I know for sure these fellas can put a big fight against many commercial amps.I have compared side by side with some good commercial amps against my LM3875 integrated amp and the only thing I can say is:
These amps can kick some a$$ for sure!. I love my amp!.
Enjoy your amp buddy.

The paint on the rear panel was still drying, hence the shading. The rear panel was a bit of a pig to make. I used bendy MDF which I held under a steaming kettle to bend in to shape (if you're going to try it, please use gloves!)

The case is a £7.99 Sainsbury's Alu knife block (if you haven't already guessed). I hope that having the tranny so near to the chip won't cause too much hummmm. The amp works, but I suppose it is more of a design project than anything else. I made a few P2P GC's so I thought I would box them up.

The case is the heatsink.

Now I've got to do the second one!

An externally hosted image should be here but it was not working when we last tested it.

one more amp. built from parts that were in one home theater dvd player (amp)...transformer is 2x13,5V, main power is made of rectifier diode in5408 and two 4700uf 25v caps. everything is p2p..this is my 4. amp i think...
