the spraycan can't be used more than once
well, there are other types of foam, but whatever

I found this massonite back panel from an old wardrobe
slicing the plate with a hobby knife makes it more flexible
not much work really
then I can just fill up with foam, after its glued into place
that should work ok

might improve on WAF factor but probably not enough to allow yet another one for the stereo

that last curve baffle proved more difficult than expected

just a reminder, there's a horn mouth on both sides
'the voice test' sounded nice and soft

can't wait to play some nice bass tunes through it

but its exciting

nah, I can lift it
surpricingly light
but quite big
measures 500 x 750 x 800mm

but if its good, the next ones might be bigger
also thought it might be a nice convertible boombox

if you can add a self powered subwoofer even better.

i have a tubeworks 300w tube amp with 4x10" paper woofer cab and it´s more than enough to play with a band in a room

Here is a website that should be checked out by anyone wanting to build their own bass cab. The fEarful project is fairly recent and is the subject of many threads over on the talkbass forum. There are lots of contributions from builders with pics and tips and reviews etc. I myself am planning on building two of the 15/6 tube cabs this summer when the weather improves.

Here's the designers web site. He has in essence contributed the designs to the bass playing DIY community.

Apologies to all if someone else has already pointed this out.

There is now a dedicated fEARful forum as well, and kits with all the panels pre-cut and all the crossover parts and boards included.

yeah, the most exciting part is coming in a few days

but I can say from 'talking' into driver opening, something will happen
what I fore is a BIG sound, but with not too much heavy low end
hence the midbass horn
I think the chances are good

I think it will get the last paint today
