What voltage are you guys planning to let your Alephs run?
The 22V like Kristijan Kljucaric?

I plan to use a CLCLC filter (47mF-2mH-47mF-2mH-96mF)
A 750 VA transformer with 20-0-20 VAC.
The rail voltage should be 20 V with 10A bias using the 220 primary (high power version),
and 18.5 V at 6.5 A using 250 primary (low power version).

I received the boards yesterday. Thanks Carondimonio.

I am thinking to have 18.5V at the fets and biass around 7.3A since the amp will be driving a pair of B&W Nautilus 803 that go downto a minimum of 3 Ohms.

BTW please count on me for a rectifier kit.

Well, I' m still looking for the right heatsinks at a right price... actually, I had to put this project on "stand-by" for a while, as right now I really don't have the time to work on it (I'm in the process of moving... ).

BTW, did everyone get their boards?

Oh, another thing: as far as I can see, the real interest in the rectifier part kits is not very high; so far we're around 20-22 kits, not really enough to get a good price breakdown. OK, let's wait a bit more and see what happens...

Yes, the two are from hifi2000.

Very nice quality, only they can't dissipate as much as I would have wanted. Each heatsink is about 0,23 k/w, so 2*0,23 k/w per case.
They aren't even that expensive considering the costs for a few nice heatsinks and a professional made front/plate case.

One is for the Aleph-X and the other one is for the Krell clone. Perhaps I'll also buy one of em ATI cases which are about 20cm larger and would be better for an Aleph-X.

I have that same Case from hifi2000 - but the dissipation is incorect - it is more like .43C/W and not .23C/W...I have the 3U version


I also bought this chassis for the KSA-50 Krell Clone just to find out both heatsinks are only good for one channel....
