Yes. George (Tubelab) has also been working on this new Schade-like scheme, for longer than I have. He calls it UnSet, and CED for more general cases.
There are a bunch of variations one can try, including Crazy Fdbk (Crazy drive configured shunt Schade Fdbk ). One can use a P-channel Mosfet follower below the cathode for signal drive, or one can use an LTP type drive with a CCS tail. Even the original shunt Schade can be fixed up with an N channel Mosfet, in grounded gate mode (to eliminate grid V effects on the current), in the current feedback path. (Anatoly / Wavebourn mentioned such a design years back) Probably more variations out there.
