The used MOSFETs are IXTH80N20L and IXTH48P20P. A single IRFP240/9240 pair wouldn't survive rail voltages +/-50V with such power levels (200W@4R continuous) ...

In principle you can use the pcb also for IRFP240/9240 devices but at a much lower output power /lower rail voltages ...
The compensation may need a redesign.
The SOA protection always need to be redesigned. When I find time I can assemble a pcb using IRFP240/9240 only.

SA2018 ultra fidelity monster amp

SA2018 - something like this?

Simulation results: 420W@8R (+/- 90V rails, 100mA bias per pair, 1.2A bias total, slew rate 100V/us)

Have fun, Toni

SA2015 4 channel VMOS

^^^ You meant "wow. it's great to have that"?

... all 4 power amp modules tested (working all out of the box) and mounted on heatsinks.

Next steps:

  1. soldering housekeeping circuits
  2. cabling
Have fun!

SA2018 - 12 pair MOSFET monster will need more research (e.g.: SOA checks; many more hours of simulation and tests). Currently I have a limited amount of spare time so you need to wait a few weeks ...

Stay tuned. I definitely will build a prototype if I find time.

2571 is a work of art!

(Something wrong with first image in 2561? Thumbnail ok but I get garbage when I click on it.)
Thx!

Picture view: No problem here ...

Where is the MCU? To be fitted on wall opposite main toroid?

See attached pictures ...

Have fun,

Toni
