Hi Guys !
If diyer want 2 pcs with GB that be cheaper but big box at customs equal big fees.
If you buy your self on line with little chance small box be without custom fees.
What we save in GB we pay in importation custom fees no doubt 20% of value and two time shipping , one from USA and two from France to European country.
Like say Jama hi buy two times, one arrived without customs.
At GB start we have hope in big bulk buy+100 transformers and for this reason Jensen make shipping to Asia/Oceania, America and Europa volunteer but not.Another bad news : one GB = one order
We can't all send money one by one to Jensen and be like team.
This change to divide big group to smaller ones , price is higher especialy for pcb version.
Unpredictable variables ?
Jama have 20 € supplementary in Spain and WalterW pay 36€ in Netherlands and wait two weeks from customs to receive his xformers...yes they are.
I don't speak PayPal fees is 3% if intermediary buyer.
This potential GB become today more complicated and less interesting :scratch1:

For those who have just found this thread, this is a Group Buy for the Jensen transformer used by Nelson Pass in the Sony VFET amplifier article, model JT-112-LCF. According to Dave Hill, General Manager at Jensen Transformers, that transformer is electrically equivalent to the PC board version, model JT-123-FLPCH. Also according to Mr. Hill, Jensen has just renamed the JT-112-LCF as the JT-123-FLCF.

If you are interested in participating in this Group Buy, you can purchase units of either or both models:

I am sorry but I prefer to go out from this GB.

Is already complicate for me, sending in Italy and wait up to end of July and look like I don't have any advantage buying through the GB. If I buy from Korea I will have in 10 days without paying any additional fees.

Don't be sorry this is only potential GB.
Normaly somebody give total price with shipping and you go into good deal.
In this case situation is different.
Group energy and negotiation with Jensen indeterminate taxes, customs...
much complicated in reality:
for example if customs be 400$
because 60 xformers total be around 2000$.
I have spend my time , go to post office, call 2 times Jensen office, send e-mails...i am sorry too but we are divided into small groups now,
what discount for Canada, Asia, Oceania ????
Today this be not possible to me organise all together Jensen is not in Europe !
