This is a current source amp ?
If I've understood correctly no, but not a pure voltage source either. The output impedance is about 4-8 I think.

Found this heat sink and thought it might work well with the L'amp 193v or inductor version.
NC-441K - Hardware, heatsink. Dimensions: 5.5" long.

yup
be careful , to not blow your eyes
put some series resistor or make resistive divider
ears?
ears?
First ears, then eyes!
With eyes you can still make DIY amplifiers!
Who needs ears!
Rush
ears are choked with headphones , so only ears can pop out
you mean only eyes can pop out!?
Can i use SIT choke version to drive hifiman headphone series which impedance vary from 35 to 50 ohm?
Also asked myself the question. One day i shall try with higher B+ and less amps. Might suit the SIT even better.
one more question, suggested power supply use CRC with 1ohm which seem higher than standard FW series, i don't the purpose whether to limit current or drop certain voltage. So can I use CLC supply which will also supply my AlephJ? I'm planning to put the psu in different chassis, hence I can switch and play with different amp.

thanks sir, always concise answer
now prioritization is always difficult, impact analysis, severity, and complexity just like my daily work. my dac will cost more+longer built than AJ+SIT but that's the joy of hunting not-easy parts. anyway what will be the value of good class a amplifier if the source is laptop headphone out
what ?
there is another working point to cut half dissipation for headphone ?
ps I have the KE ones.....
