Yes,, your guess is right.. DC offset is more than 15v. I was such an idiot to plug my speakers without checking it.. oopz.. but still I dont know what's the fault is, sadly. I have attached some pictures of my amp. May be you can find the fault with that.

damn I have missed that. it was the only mistake. amp is fine now.. no hum. I used it with a lowpass filter.. sonics are really good. DC offset is very low (around 20mv). Heating problem is also solved. I have a plan to bridge this amp. Can I drive 4 ohms speaker under bridge mode (because each amp sees 2 ohms load)?, If so what what is the supply voltage and current you recommend?
thanks for the support !
thanks for the support !
Hi Apex,
this darlington amp can have more output power trans? like 3 each side?
regards.
Azmi
Yes, you can add more outputs.

For all aplication especialy for subwoofer I recomend you Kelvin amplifier without VI limiter. You also need active X-over for subwoofer.
hi mile,
can kelvin connected in bridge mode and how? it simplicity make it a superior candidate for my subwoofer.
NB: C3-1500pF KER .. is this correct value 1500pF

You must add bridge circuit for bridge two amps.
152 is 1,5nF or 1500pF

Regards Mr. Apex , Thanks for nx14 with irf250 .Can we increase 250 in output in parallel and how many . how the rail voltage can be increased and up to what voltage.Thank you also for your tone circuit , splitter ,protection, speaker box design. You have covered almost all fields in audio Some more favour we your followes need is an equalizer circuit of minimum 16 bands.i have made many of your projects and they are working fine. Soon I will post you photos of these as i am gathering money to buy a digital camera . soon my new workshop also will be furnished and there i will make almost all the project published by you. I am planning to assemble 10 of yourr tone control boards + 2 subwoofer in one cabinet to use it as audio tone control splitter to use as 5 way system in fields that is subwoofer, bass, lower mid ,upper mid and h.f.one more favour will be adorable if you can publish simple di box project with simple i.c's like tlo72 or ne 5532 .Your biggest fan Vedmitra Sharma.

Paralleling MOSFETs with 0,47R/5W, you can use 5 pairs with +/-80V DC rail voltage, but I not try to do this with NX14, if you do that please share your expirience. I have only 9 band equalizer, but you can increase bands to any number if you want. I have no to much time to draw DIY versions of my old project, I will share one by one at time to time, thank's for your posts.

hello apex do you have schematic and pcb layout of active x-over for subwoofer im interested to build.
This circuit is upgrade on BUZAMP from Elektor. Use only N-mosfets, with +/-50V DC give 150W on 4R load.
Hi Apex,
can i use IRFP264 instead of IRFP250?
Any changes?

IRFP264 can be used, I suggest NX14 schematic,

hi there,
i'm a beginner, can i make this this amp in a vero board?
is this amp works on 35+/- DC?
i got a pair of 2 way bookshelf speakers from TL audio fatman itube.
i don't know the rating of the speakers. i decided to connect the amp to this speakers. is this will works good?
APEX,I would like to make for my self your NX16,but I have 450W transformer with 2 x 46VAC wich gives me 2 x 65VDC after PSU,and IRFP that I have are IRFP250N ,not a IRFP250. Would this amplifier work with this power of transformer, with this voltage supply and with this transistors? I have all that, that is partly a reason I´ve got idea of building it. I wouldn´t use it at full power all the time, and mostly it would be on a 8Ohm speakers. It would be a second of Your amplifiers, first one will be AX12. I just must make it and hear how that simple amplifier works! For him I don´t have any questions,at least not yet. Thanks in advance for any answers,I´m waiting patiently...
Here it is,NX16 with one voltage stabiliser PSU10 and APEX protect and clip indicator:
Thanks APEX!
Thanks APEX!
