You can use this amplifier also for Hi-Fi not only for PA, sound of B500 is better than most 'Hi-Fi' amps.

but still looking for real hard bass amp...

Bass from B500 have very good definition, and I like it, but you need 'CREST' style like VERTEX for 'real hard bass' or somethin simplier like this:

No need for changes if you want use different type of outputs.

I use active x-over and horn-reflex subs with B500, and bass is great: very high definition, any tone of bass guitar or drums is clear. This symmetrical design is classic and good, but speaker box is also important for good bass.

This amp give more bass, but with lower definition, at the end mater of taste.

hi apex, we built your horn reflex sub using Fane 18xb speakers and it sounds great, driven only by a crown xls amp in bridge mode, it really rattle the roof of our warehouse, very hi fidelity bass that throws at a distance

What is x-over frequency, I suggest 150Hz, 24dB/oct.

hi apex, we use dbx crossover at around 160hz, sounds punchy, with good sub bass quality, i will post more pictures on sunday after i paint it. thanks
