NSL32 can be replaced with any opto-resistor or you can DIY it with LED + LDR.

Hi Emmi !,

Welcome to DIYaudio!

It’s a two step driver circuit. In this amp we are using one more voltage (second step) apart from common +/- rail voltages. +/- MV medium voltage which would less than main rail voltage (HV-high voltage).

"Nothing comes for free... Even knowledge” you have to pay the price.. So just read full thread 82 pages of discussion and have a better understanding about H class amplifier.

Every one is ready to help you on building this wonderful amplifier including Apex (He would be first person)

Single pair will be ok, you can use BD243/BD244 or use darlingtons BDV83D/BDV84D without drivers. This schematic can help.

Use 2SC4793/2SA1837, and 0,22R/5W. You can use 35 0 35 transformer for test, but zener resistors 2k2/2W replace with 1k/2W.

You can use this amplifier also for Hi-Fi not only for PA, sound of B500 is better than most 'Hi-Fi' amps.

BD139,140 and BDW93,94 are on the same heatsink. Is it ok Apex?

I correct edit track and post the parts placement but i don't test ( Wait for holiday time ).
And you use please check and confirm for B500 schematic again.
