pure crystal oxygen free copper cables vs just oxygen free copper cables?

IMHO:

For DC:

Solid (uses all of the copper )

For audio:

Stranded (skin effect) (uses as much copper as possible)

Silver plated if you can. (Silver oxide is conductive)

Solid silver not worth the cost.

OFC not worth the cost or the hype.

Crystal whatever tend to suggest (to me) separated copper particles...how is this a positive characteristic?

That is true albeit a quite bad conductor.
The problem is that the tarnish that builds up on silver is not silver oxide but silver sulphate which is an insulator.

Simple stranded wire won't do anything with regard to skin effect (and if you're going to worry about skin effect, you should worry just as much if not more about proximity effect).

And I still don't like OFC...
LCOFC or standard copper is better in my opinion.
No comment on silver.
And nothing to do with cost..because some of it is just plain MAD,
