hi friends i am thinking to make a simple psu but need to have softstart and shut down pa amp electric if the dc voltage at signal output. but need to still have a power led open for the we can see there is no eror on psu. it will like a protect and show which part is broken psu or amp board

i just dont know how to make soft start for transformer. can any one put a working schematic.

There are at least a couple of ways of doing it.

Resistor in parallel with a timed relay.

A way I used was a triac in series with the mains transformer.
I slowly ramped up phase angle until it was at full.

it need to be so much easy but my stone head cannot get it .

Probably easiest to pick up a pcb off ebay and they will give you a wiring diagram.

hi.

here i find 3 different softstart. i just wna to understand how it work.

their resistor values changing for the different amplifier vac or for the currents?

and 3th picture from apex psu. this is different it need voltage there 20vac. do i need 20vac from transformer secondery?
