Replaced the DN2450 with IXTP01N100D, no voltage across T.P., not work!Using stronger cascode input CCS like IXTP01N100D or IXTP08N100D2 solve the problem?
Are you sure the two protection zeners related to the input CCS working OK?Replaced the DN2450 with IXTP01N100D, no voltage across T.P., not work!
Tested and those are relabeled fake EMOS.Also see with a component tester if the particular IXTP is DMOS indeed and not a relabeled fake.
Thanks, will place order at Mouser.Mine Mouser units works ok.
I need some help,
accidentally shorted outputs to ground.
Power supply before the regulator works but the led on the regulator not working and no output power.
I was taking voltage readings on the pre amp and my meter prob slipped shorting to ground terminal.
Any body know where I should start on what component or components I may have killed.

Hi, sorry for bad luck. Anyway, in post #1 there's a link to a troubleshooting example/dialog few posts long. Read that to find clues. In short you first make sure there's still a working CCS section then you check the voltage making section semiconductors. Vbe, Vgs, are health indicators.
Thanks Salas,
At least I got to enjoy the pre amp for a few hours the night before.
Sounded great.
I had to do a last voltage check and thats, that.
I'll try to follow the test procedures and with any luck get it back to the way it was before,
Grealy appreciate your help.
