For SE topology, a good quality L is less demanding to manufacture compared to a transformer with a caveat of a coupling cap. Is your preference to transfotmer coupled topology based on measurement, sonic taste or something else? Would you kindly share a bit more of your experience?

I was contemplating variations of SE output stage. Quoting Audio Note's Kondo-san: "The most significant mistake of theoretical audio maniacs in this century is that they threw away the OPT." My sims on OPT coupled MoFo however, show inferior performance compared to the LC as you designed. As a bonus, chokes are less fiddly to manufacture.
Of course I also understand that there are other issues when an electrolytic cap is used for signal coupling duty. One notable example being guaranteed messy incident on incorrectly installed polarity.
