Dear Nelson,
Thanks for your answer. Hummm impelementing a delux 2nd harmonic generator and cancelling that 2nd harmonic distortion does not makes too much sense. I have to think about something different.
I have read several of your papers recently. Thanks a lot for sharing all this knowledge and experience !

Tubey buffer only
Hello all
I was thinking trying to use this buffer between source (e.g. DAC) and my DCG3 preamp driving the AlephJ mini i did some time ago.
Plugging out the volume control on this, giving my preamp unity gain, and so to say just use this as "tube - converter"; is this stupid, and any considerations to think of trying this setup ?

Papa, any timeframe for official board?
I am curious as well. I was under the impression this was something that would be offered in the near future. If possible, I would like to know if I am waiting for something which will never occur.
Korg has not responded to my inquiry about making the Nutube available for DIYers.
Good news RS distribute Korg componets in Europe ( UK £ , France € etc.)
and we can buy big boxes of 60 pcs.= low price for professional company or DiyAudio store kit's
Nutube 6P1 | Korg Nutube Nutube 6P1 Double Triode Thermionic Valve, Parallel Base, 45 x 16 x 5.6mm | RS Components
For USA distributor RS equivalent is
Allied Electronics - Industrial Automation & Control Products Distributor
Oh Yeah it's possible Kindest regards
RS France get triodes in stock today
Nutube 6P1 | Tube thermoionique double triode Parallele, 17 broches, 45 x 16 x 5.6mm | RS Components

Does Pete sell Nutube's as "standalone" parts?
If we could get the Pass PCB via the DIY shop then we could get the Nutube via Pete?
Or an agreement could be made with Pete to sell the Nutube via DIY shop?
That would be a possibility.
The First Watt B1 Korg preamp has been on display by Korg and will be
at RMAF I believe, and it is likely to be a product, but we are not
authorized to distribute the parts.
Presumably Pete Millet is, and the price he is charging is reasonable.
In addition, it seems to be available at a lower price in Europe at RS.
Also, you can communicate directly with Korg:
Nutube – English | korgnutube.com – English as they invite inquiries on the site.

Well that is a bit disappointing. I do believe diy was a catalyst in the birth of HiFi. I think it would be a shame to ignore the diy community when bringing a new technology to the market.
Either way, I sent Korg a message asking for their cooperation. Perhaps if they get a bunch of letters, somebody might address it.
If others are like me, I really need the pcb and instructions. I can buy components if given a shopping list. Sounds like I can just buy a Nutube from Pete if I wanted to also.
Thanks for the update.
