I have read that Papa will deliver a new F6 diy for us : do you have more info about its power (i hope more than current F5) and when the schematics will be available ?
Tks
Check his site. Review on 6Moons.

You will see an F6, but as I have mentioned before, I am
bifurcating the offerings from FW. I will probably make only 10
of the F6 and then publish the schematic. Non "F" series are
slated for continuous production, and there will not be a DIY
version until production is terminated.
maybe next year...
I have the pc boards, and when I have a little time I will stuff up the
official copy and write the article.
It is comparable in power to the rest of the FW amplifiers, uses the
R100 power Jfets (but can also use regular Mosfets) and is unique in
a couple of ways.
I'm only going to make 10, and there is no intention to sell them, so it's
strictly DIY.
If you want more juice, then the F5 Turbo is probably what
you want.

Aaarrrggghhhhh--the suspense is almost unbearable.....
Thank you again, Mentor Pass--for your gifts of years passed, and of 2012 to come (F5 Turbo, F6, and ????)
excellent!! i can feel a GB for the R100A coming on, have you tested these parts Nelson? X? unfortunately anything that wont accept balanced inputs is kinda out for me except for novelty reasons as my main rig only has balanced outs
i'll echo the thanks and amazement of above!!

Yes, Turbo F-5 is causing me suspense to be sure, it will be worth the wait!

Awesome, it sounds like 2012 is shaping up to be a really big Pass DIY year.
Should I fear this is a harbinger of the the world's end?
Interesting point..... According to the Mayan calendar, in 2012 the world will come to pass.
Now I'm wondering if they meant "pass", as in, decease/end/terminate, die.......
Or did they mean "Pass", as in Mentor, Poppa, Learned One, Nelson
Oh.....the mysteries of life.......
I´m quite curious about the F6.
If my memory serves me well it doesn´t have a balanced input, so the input stage might not be a differential amplifier.
As there are no compementary R100 devices available, there appears the question what solution Nelson had found.
A current source in the output stage without a differential input, so maybe using a different kind of feedback?
But a complementary input stage like F5 doesn´t seem make to much sense, while using a current source.
There were some solutions for push pull amplifiers using only n channell devices....
