looking to the past with alot of analog type experimentation, I really like Conny Plank's work in the group Neu.
Of course Kraftwerk needs to be mentioned here as well. They're stuff still sounds great and you can't discount the influence they've had on all types of modern electronic music.
In the sample based music department Art of Noise is still my favorite, Trevor Horn is an amazing producer and musician.
Older Peter Gabriel is also right up there. I still listen to the album Security on a regular basis.

Thursday 4/11 in the city shop, I luckily buy Pierre Henry " Polyphonies " 12 CD's box.
Sound quality is much better compared to You Tube audio. Excellent stereo with headphones.
