Hey guys I've been searching for these Roger's studio 1 for a while and I'm pretty close..I have the original cabinets and speakers but no crossovers.
I have emailed Winslow and falcon with no avail.
Can anyone please that has these speakers write up the schematics.
Or do you guys recommend a crossover?

Rogers Studio 1 driver compliment:
The midbass is Rogers own die-cast frame 200mm using a light bextrene cone. The treble unit is the Celestion HF 1300, augmented by a version of the KEF T27.
Spendor BC1 driver compliment:
The midbass is a 200mm driver fitted with a bextrene cone. The Celestion HF1300 tweeter is augmented by a Coles 4001 super tweeter.

The Rogers Studio 1 has a heavily populated circuit board.

I haven't had any success in locating a schematic though.

If you wish to consider taking the minimalist approach, you could base your crossover on Russ Andrew's 'upgrade' to the Spendor BC1.if I cant get a schematic for the Roger's I will go the spendors xover
Russ Andrews - Hi-Fi mains and cable specialist"Remove the crossover completely, wire the mid/bass direct to the input, then feed the treble with a 2uF Kimber Kap and the Supertweeter with a 0.47uF Kimber Kap"
P.S. For 'Kimber Kap' read 'high quality polypropylene film capacitor'.

I dont have a crossover at all..I would need to make a new one ..and I thought copying the spendor bc1 would be my only option
You could invest maybe $200 in buying some test gear, make your own measurements, then design your own crossovers.
Or.
You could find as many specs as possible and maybe someone here could do some rough simulations.
Or.
You could read AllenB's fantastic guide to building a crossover without measurements.

I had a pair a while ago. At one point I wanted to change the caps so I examined the crossover and drew this schematic. I must say some of the resistors didn't seem original so I can't tell if this is 100% accurate. There were probably some revisions down the line, although these speakers had a nice and pleasant sound.
Have fun!

Wow great thanks..I'm going to start with this

@ jozhaa - looks like you've filled a hole in the market there - I can't find a schematic anywhere else!
@ venaka - Before making jozhaa's crossover you might like to test your speakers using the simpler crossover I mentioned earlier.
Wire the midbass direct to the speaker terminals, put a 2uF capacitor in series with the HF1300 and put a 0.47uF capacitor in series with the T27.
This could reveal any driver problems before you commit to building the full crossover - just a suggestion! 🙂
It's surprising how often speaker renovation threads end up with the question "Where can I find replacements for my faulty drivers?
Hopefully, venaka, all six of your ~35 year old drivers are in good working order!

i got luck and just won an auction for the rogers studio 1 complete. They only have an xlr connection so will have to add some binding post.
also one think I'm a little confused is on the port length..these came with long almot 6" ports while the others I have are 3" ports.
Did rogers play with the port lengths or have these been modified by the last owner?
