GringoAudio, my apologies for a bit of a rant. And thanks to the moderators for not being too hard on me. I hope we can still be friends. :eek:

I did think you were talking about a two-element series crossover. One of my pet hates, because they never work terribly well. You need to do some serious impedance correction with them which ups the component count, and even then they end up distorting complex music.

But your project could turn out very well with a good crossover. Here's a little 12L reflex 5" Monitor Audio MA7 speaker I like and own:

It's surprising how good a small speaker can sound. But definitely a higher third order.
 
Hi.

Have anyone build Scanspeak B1371 Speaker? Does it sound good?
I tried to find results and comments of whole internet but find nothing.

I bet it sounds good. But sounds good to your taste? No one can answer this.
The speaker's efficiency is not so high and uses high order crossovers, not everyone likes this way. But it uses one of best hi-fi drivers.
