Thanks PA. According to the datasheet the 10A10 diodes have a 1V forward voltage at 10A. Seems relatively close to the 6A diodes which are .9V at 6A.
The diodes are OK. The ripple current is determined by the forward voltage of the diodes but I would say that any snap-in capacitor will work as long as the capacitance is high enough.
Hi Peranders do you know if it's necessary to have a fuse in series with DCT03? "CE". There is only series components so what could possible be dangerous?
If you have 10 amps fuse in the wall I think this is sufficient but if you have more than 10 amps I recommend that you add a fuse.
