The Itch can adequately amplify HiMC or MM cartridges but not MC without SUT or active pre pre like this
OK, thank you for answer Salas! And for MM? Any solution without SUT, cause high costs? Have an Empire 999 from 1971.

Answered here Salas post 3179 Valve Itch phono
MM and HiMC can be connected directly to the Itch without any SUT or Pre-Pre. It gives 45dB voltage gain at 47k input load when driven directly. That's stated on the schematic also. You just delete the SUT from the schematic and its simply an MM phono.
Thank you Salas! That encourage to start me to build up the itch
Good luck with your building.
Thanks , any suggestions about 260vac transformer?
I use Lundhal LL1683 250VAC
sounds good. The same for filaments as well or they are saparate?
The same Lundhal for all Itch.
ok, and what you are using for maida 300v? Planning for test to use varistor and replace them later to...?
I use SSHV2
sorry, but what means SSHV2?
