Zen RIAA MM for B1 Korg

I would like to build a simple MM RIAA phono amp for my B1 Korg preamp:
- MM with the ability to switch from 47K 300pF to 1000 150pF
- Powered by the same 24v type power supply as the B1 Korg uses
- Zen, simple, easy. elegant
- Does not invert phase
- PCB fits inside the B1 Korg enclosure (Galaxy 2U from store)


I've looked around Analog Source with no luck, anyone know of a circuit?

As you know, I know nothing.
So I ask it fearfully, Pearl 2 can fit the bill in some configuration?

It inverts phase, sorry.

The LENCO VV7 looks like it would fit in the enclosure, simple enough to try with bread boards.

You want a single rail, 24v phono stage. Most of the op amp based photos are out, voltage is too high.

Some of the jfet le pacific variations will work. Like the Bhl phono.

You realize that the Korg B1 psu is not exactly ideal for a phono stage?

yes, I thought the wall wart wouldn't work. I just want to use the same power supply, 24 volts for both, using a voltage divider if needed.
Will a switching type power supply work or is it to noisy?
If a brick won't work, I could always make my own regulated power supply.
I'll try searching for the Bhl.

It’s not that the switching supply won’t work. It’s just that phono stages are more sensitive to noise since the amplification is greater. Depends on the stage though.

An op amp based phono might be a better choice with an switching psu but most are split rail psu. You only have a single rail supply.
