ZEN - my own Variation with special Future (Output and GND Reversed)
This idea rises up 20 years ago, because I absolutely didn't like using mica washers for MOSFET's and BjT's in hard running amps (idle/quiescent current above 1-2A) Additional I didn't like using for each power device an own heat sink.
The special future is the fact, that output and GND are reversed compared to the usual concepts.
So as not to have to start from scratch I am looking around for a topology, who supported my idea and have found this:
1) Qsc-Topology
first attachment of post #17 under
QSC topology, but without opamp?
2) Experiment circuit of 2SK1595 class A single ended power amplifier (2SK1595 A級シングルパワーアンプの実験回路 - stepless regulation between both modes)
Ultra low on resistance MOS-FET 2SK1595 classA single power amplifier
3) Mosfet Power Follower
the Power Folllower
Mosfet Power Follower and other projects
SEWA - Seven Watt Amplifier

4) Mosfet/BjT Sziklai Power Follower
first attachment post #27 under
Pavel Macura's MOSFET Power Follower
After finished various experiments I had realized several projects for friends and mounting of all hard running power devices to one electrical grounded heat sink is already a convenient thing.
In the attached schematics you will find two versions:
1) power amp for speaker drive of high efficiency loudspeakers
2) headphone and preamplifier for driving heavy capacitive loads (e. g. in multi amping systems and/or long signal leads resp. cables)
Because of the age this schematics are not in my "circuitmaker" cad program and exist only as a hand-drawn version.
Maybe one of the members can simulate and post the results. Sound character is excellent - the preamp version wasn't beat from a commercial product until now.
