Hello all,
How would a compression driver sound driven by the original Zen amplifier?
I want to build a new pair of speakers and expiriment with compression drivers in tweeter use.
Thanks

I've had Zen's and Zenlites on TAD 2001 / 4001, JBL and P-Audio compression drivers many times.
My current garage system uses Nelson's Zenlite driving a coax driver with P-audio 1 inch compression drivers from 2.4 kHz up.... I like it!

Compression driver
How do they sound? That is a question that presumes a lot of other things. A silk dome tweeter is a stand alone system.
A compression driver is part of an overall system with ancillary this and that bolted on; horns, waveguides, diffusers and the like.
When everything comes together they are wonderful, and very much a microscope back to the source.
