Ok, i found time to fix the crack. New piece of wood.
Because i had a little 50Hz noise with the horns i descided to try a regulator. The circuit looks now like the drawing below. Only the IRFP150N is at about 150°C, very small heatsink. Sould i try a bipolar instead? Or another FET with less Vgs?
