Zapco slbu install

Ill be installing my audio system this weekend. I'm new at this and couldn't find any info on the zapco slb-u. To install the slb-u, I just simply run wires from the zapco amp's power, remote, and ground to the slb-u and plug in the RCAs? A 500 watt mono amp isn't too much for an 8w7, is it? I've read mixed reviews. I'm looking forward to learning tons on this site. Thanks in advance.

Hi jbv'

I'm not trying to make you feel bad for your question, however... If this is your first car stereo install and you're not sure just how it's done, this is not the best approach. When you start out by asking... "do I just simply run the wires from xyz to abc...", you're asking how to do it, and that means you're under prepared and have not done the proper research on the subject. There are tons of "Car Audio" books that will help you to understand what needs to be done, how to do it, and why. Here's a video from "Crutchfield" that may be helpful to you: https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&rct...=dyTp8Ki7wk2ZcthUIYgNLw&bvm=bv.62922401,d.eW0 Again, I don't want to discourage you from trying to 'DIY'; just trying to encourage you to do it the right way! Good luck,

rigtec, best regards
