With R150 = 30kohm, R105 and R106 10Kohm, i have clipping @ 1.6vpp.
Now i use normal sine wave generator, feeltech fy3200s, in the future i will use with audison bitone HD or Helix DSP pro dsp processors.

It would need to be done at the RCA input. Try:
Ground for the pot to the RCA shield point.
Input from RCA to the input of the pot.
Break the connection between the RCA input and the 14k resistor and connect the 14k resistor to the output of the pot.
I don't know if it would interfere with the balanced input (causing engine noise).
