Rolm, great work on the retrofit. I recently bought an AI-1000 and am going to retro fit it such as you did, but try to cut the cost a bit and having a fan that would not chop off my finger tips would be nice. I'd love to chat with you via the forum, aim, email, or whatever (even better, the retrofitting section of my forum). I was wondering if you (or anyone else) has some specs on the lens type of the AI-1000.
its a convex singlet (it COULD be a doublet since its kinda thick). i have a PDF of the AI when u see me on AIM feel free to ask for it 🙂
