Defiant: Vishay-Dale RN series are likely equivalent to CMF non-magnetic. I've used them in some builds and like them. Also have used KOA speer, xicon, whatever in non-critical spots. Only tried fancier stuff (mills non-magnetic) once for upgrade in phono pre.
Thanks. I will take a look at the RN series.
I used Dale RN-60 resistors in my last two DIY tube builds.
Inexpensive and you can find them almost everywhere.

Honestly, I prefer recent production electrolytics _over_ Solen polyprop caps. .
Me too - panasonic and nichicon make some very nice psu caps.

I've bought (but not yet used) some prp resistors http://www.prpinc.com/pdf/Audio_PR9372_Series.pdf not terribly expensive between 35c and $1.00 from parts connexion. The datasheet is a bit light on in specs, but I figured I'd give them a try for my active crossover.
