Hi,
I've just decided to join the forum after lurking for several months. Main reason for joining is that I feel guilting taking all the ideas without contributing.
Started looking at DIY after being inspired by the TNT audio site. Found Audio Aslyum, but thought the threads were a bit chaotic. Harmonic Dischord too USA based, but it seems that diyaudio has hit the spot.
Very early days in DIY for me and with a family I doubt if I'll get as much time to play as I would like
Current DIY topics that interest are Gainclone, battery powered PSU's, CD players/DACs and loudspeakers
Will not go into current set-up but would class it as mid-fi, but I'm enjoying vinyl rather than CD at present
Curent skill level - a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
See you on the boards somewhere..........

Welcome. Starting to make your own Hi-Fi is very much like... ...getting kittens. If you can get past 18 months, they'll probably survive to a ripe old age.
