Hi,

That dell looks good, I'd want to check that there aren't any dead pixels/scratches on the screen though. My BenQ screen had no protective cover at all, just the pannel.

just incase anyone missed it.. does a TFT with a cracked screen mean the actual tft screen is broke or the protection over it

As I said above, I don't think they generally have any glass or such over them. Liliputs have a protective film, but if theres a crack I'd expect it to be the pannel itself.

i know philip0101 used one and his looked ok. and i know some of you say dont use it but thats all i can find at a suitable price

also.. how does that cold mirror work in a projector, where does it go?


total = £106 (make it £120 to include shipping costs)

now, as a student, i work part time and on sundays (time and a half i get £7.50 p/h

now.. if a do a 10hr shift 😀 ill get about £75 😀

not as pricey as id expected as id only like to spend £150 on the project
