I my case i will have i will try to reduce frequencies above 15.000, beacause i wll have the fullrange driver mounted in a horn(tractrix). So it's a bit tricky.
It can add a nice bit of "air" to a FR missing it. Personally i think that deigning with the idea of adding bass help makes for a better speaker. There are a growing number of small FRs that do well at the top end.
