Hey those are nice speakers. don't they have push push 8" or 10" drivers inside. ive seen the way they were constructed.
I have used half 104.2 MTM Block and bass-drivers 12" from 107.2 Raimond series. I call them 108s 🙂 Look at the picture and imagine diferent size of the box (biger) and base is not triangle but ruther round
They Sound amaizingly good I love them so much.

trigon,
i dont know, mine arent done yet, i could extend them out another year i guess ;-)
right now, the BOSOZ pre-amp im building will be in close competition with my alephs for "over the topness".
just think, a preamp that takes up 2 19" wide aluminum chassis, and weighs in at over 50 pounds... overbuilt? yeah, of course!

Put a nice thick 1/2" face plate on it and polish it up. then you be pretty close. to that picture.
Super job
Trigon,
Very, very nicely done. So how much time to you have on these babies.
Great idea for the capacitor platform.
Where did you locate the handles?
Great choice of components.

Re: Super job
Handles are from Ikea
They are probably the cheapest component used in the amplifiers 🙂

It's a bird cage with a phoenix hidden inside 😉 Sounds great all I can say hehe. With Peter's preamp it sounded even more unique, so a pre-amp will be nice in the long run I'd love it even more, but on it's own it's still .. really.. really.... really.. ............. really amazing..
