I picked up this amp (not "working") cheap, and (with batteries) it sounds incredible. Problem was the socket for the 15VDC wall wart has jacked. Unsoldered it, had one leg broken - ah-ha?...not quite. PCB showed positive lead, so I soldered red & blk wires to it, but still no power. Wish I had the schematic! Bad socket had 3 terminals, possibly to switch out the battery source... Where can I get this socket? Has no numbers on it, pcb says only "JK501". Don't want to install any socket, if it has special switching. Thanks!
If you are in the OC Yamaha is right there in Buena Park, off of the 60. They have walk in service available and should have what you need. Or you can order from Yamaha online thru their 24/7 parts ordering.

I called, they say they're closed.... but thanks for the tip, I'll get up there soon.... Got the amp back working, turns out the defective jack has a contact inside that feeds the batteries when it is not getting wall power. Just shorted the right wires, and back on batteries (for now)...
