Hi all, my Yamaha rx a3020 went dead while I was changing a headshell on the turntable without turning the receiver off, my bad. Since, it’s been not turning on, but clicks when I plug it in to the outlet. This seems to suggest relays are activated but maybe there’s a short somewhere? I’m not electronically capable beyond checking on a fuse so hoping someone here knows what I should track down, thanks in advance
Possibly/probably(?) the amp is in protect. Download the service manual

See chapter on self diagnosis function, page 29 of the sm.
Invoke DIAG, ie, while pressing TONE/BALANCE and INFO buttons press the Power ON button then read the protection info,
eg, I PROTECT, DC PRT.nnn, note the full message
