Hi, these xtant 3300c/x requires a Balanced Line Module for balanced inputs otherwise it should be bypassed with jumpers.
Also, half of the speaker terminals are indeed connected to ground VIA a 47 ohm(yellow, purple, black, gold) resistor located between capacitors near the transformers.
I dont know if I can be of any assistance since both of my xtant 3300 are also non functioning at the moment.

Thanks for the info SR20DeDweeb !!!
And perry... i did find a meter that reads dc voltage on ac setting..
Seems to be ok meter... but... it's an old analog meter.. well this work??

If it reads 0v when set to AC but connected across the battery, it may work.
With the black probe on the ground terminal, what is the AC voltage on the following points? You only need to post the voltage for 1 of the FETs if they're all approximately the same.
Leg 1 of the power supply FETs?
Leg 2 of the power supply FETs?
Pins 11 and 14 of the SG3525?

well it seems the person i borrowed the meter from didnt understand what i was asking if it did...
the meter reads same voltage on ac as it does dc... so i guess that wont work...
no way around this other then keep looking for a meter that reads 0 volts when on ac??
