Xsim 2way crossover.

Hi, Im try to use Xsim. But not coming long. Im building a speakerbox for the beach. Two 6.5 inc woofer on each side facing to the sides, and two tweeter facing the forward ( to the listener ). Gone drive it with a 2+20W class D amp. Using Focal Polyglass 6.5 inc and Scan Speak D3804. I dont know how to get and put in the ZMA files. Can I watch at the curves without the files or are there to much information missing? The woofer and tweeter has almost same sensitive dB and Re.

Well, the ideal is to measure the in-box impedance curve either with something like DATS, Clio, your own resistor (or a slightly more complicated) jig in REW, LIMP etc., and save as a .zma file which you then import -double click the driver icon in Xsim, & in the pop-up menu, where you see the 'Zma impedance file' option, open, navigate to the folder you've saved the file in, & select. Job-jibbed.

If you can't measure, then you'll ideally need something like VituixCAD, Response Modeller or similar to model the box impedance response, preferably with the coil inductance etc. modelled as closely as possible to the factory or a reliable 3rd party's data, save as a .zma & use that. Don't forget to extract phase, if you're doing the latter.

From the look of it, this is speaker level rather than line level per se, so might be better moved to the multiway forum?
