I bought a 6 channel XP30 but I am a stereo only guy. Now I have 4 amp modules to play with. Does anyone already looked at the interface of the XP 30 PreAmp Modules. Idea is to build Power supply and control unit on my own to do some basic operations of the module. (They are listed here in Europe for 10200 Euro). (I wrote embedded Applications before and have build power supplies 🙂

Yes original PL XP-30 Mono PreAmp Boxes. they are connected with a DB25 to the processor and can be daisy chained. A I understood all the amplification for one channel incl. the Muses Volume regulation and input switching is done in these Boxes.

good luck with project ..... however , doing that development in public will certainly reveal too much of PL IP

the Interface between the boxes is probably not really some secret PL IP sauce 🙂 And Yeas I will do proper judgement on this. I even had hoped to get some support on this part of the schematic by PL.

if you have experience with uproc and software , I believe that you'll have only fun
especially having real McCay in front of you ....
