Very interesting thread!

On the topic of "Audiophile Optimizer" I as a programmer don't see how disabling ipv6 or print spooler enhances the sound. HighendAudioPC, I've visited you site bit I didn't found a single concrete explanation on how each optimization enables better sound output.

To be honest, most people don't care about "how" it works, they only care "that" it works. Especially for IT-People (i am Senior System Engineer), the whole topic is completely NONSENSE. Not long ago, it was complete nonsense to me as well. If it is about computer audio, all i've learnd in IT during the past 20 years gets worthless. But most audiophiles are no IT-Specialists, so they only care about the result. And the results are indeed amazing, a 100% success ratenso far should be evidence enough (please see the reviews on my page, or read the dominating threads over at jplay.eu, aktives-hoeren.de or computeraudiophile.com. Audiophile windows 8 from John Doe, Server 2012 audiophile core edition)

It's an brilliant idea to use Windows server in core mode.

Ist it just for the streamer ? How do you do with so little number of instances when you need to manage local network, databases for the library ? Do you get an another server ? virtualised in the same device with the same licence of W2012 ? All instances and services are an alone chips multihearth processor or on multiple virtualised processor ?

very interresting....

Maybe I'm off topic in regards to my question... sorry for that!

It is kind of funny how all the people promoting "audiphile tuning" enhancements for computers never explain exactly how their products are supposed to work, and never make any actual claims that could be shown to be true or false, but instead always refer to "customer testimonials" that can't be verified.
