good morning everyone. I recently purchased the item in question. I would like to know if the dsp input can handle a preamplifier with high gain such as the topping pre 90, or I risk doing damage. the dac has a fixed output of 5 volts.
with the high gain of the topping I could get to 12/13 volts I think. I would not want to do damage and regret it bitterly. Thanks.

We always run our DJ mixers going into our XP-4080 near maximum level, to prevent the DJ from having much possibility to increase the volume of the main PA. We use the A&H Xone 23, which can supply 20 Vrms on its main outs. Never had a problem with it. Xilica DSPs are made for PA applications, where high drive levels early in the signal chain are common.
@stoneeh Hi, thanks for the reply.
Since you work with this equipment I take this opportunity to ask you some more questions: does this DSP have FIR or IRR filters? In terms of processing power and general quality is it excellent? Furthermore is its internal Dac of good quality? Can it be deactivated?
