I remeber something having similar function in the commercial F5 circuit ??

All FAB members are invited to remove the current limiters from their F5's.

They can then put in the XESSIL during testing.
And then just use a jumper (or switch) from emitter to collector to disable it afterwards.

I'm so FAB that I totally removed not just limiters from my F5 , but F5 entirely !
